1. The Department
Our Boys Academy Department has been awarded the prestigious category one status accolade, demonstrating that we provide the highest level of quality coaching, education, training, and facilities for our youth football provision.
To continue to deliver our ambitious plans for identifying and developing young footballers, we have an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated and proactive Goalkeeping Coach to work within our Youth Development Phase and Professional Development Phase, working specifically with the U15-U18 age groups.
2. The Role
You will be responsible for overseeing the technical programme from which training sessions are planned and delivered for the Youth Development Phase and Professional Development Phase.
You will plan, organise and manage training sessions for the U15-18 goalkeepers. You will work as part of a wider Multi-Disciplinary Team which will include ensuring a development programme is put in place to meet the individual needs of the goalkeepers, assisting the Performance Analysis Team to ensure regular recordings of games and footage feedback sessions and working closely with Medical and Sport Science staff in the management of injuries and sports science testing.

3. The Person
The successful candidate must have a UEFA A Goalkeeping Licence or be nearing completion. You must have demonstrable experience of a similar role within a Category 1 – 4 Academy with a clear track record in the development of goalkeepers. This is a dynamic, fast paced role so you will need be able to multi-task and prioritise and work within a team environment and independently.
You must also be available to work flexibly as this role will require you to work evenings and weekends.
