1. The Department

The Women's Football Department consists of our Senior First team who compete in the Barclays Women's Super League, the highest league in the country for professional women's football. The department also consists of a full youth academy structure, ages ranging from U9 through to U21 Academy programme.

In continuing our journey and building for the future, we are focusing our efforts to ensure our Women's Team have the resources in place to help us deliver our ambitious plans for nurturing, encouraging, and developing talent and striving to become a leading force in women’s football.

2. The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a proactive and experienced Goalkeeping Coach to join our Women’s Football Team.

Working as a Goalkeeping Coach, you will be responsible for the management of the Women’s First Team Goalkeeping Department and for all technical development and management of the Women’s First Team Goalkeepers along with identifying and monitoring talent.

You will plan and deliver sessions appropriate to international level goalkeepers in line with the Club and Managers philosophy and demands as well as provide feedback (video and data) to the goalkeepers’ post training sessions and matchdays.

3. The Person

The successful candidate must hold a UEFA B Goalkeeping Coach Licence (or higher/equivalent) and have experience of working within Professional Football as a Goalkeeping Coach specifically with female athletes.

We are seeking a proactive and efficient professional with a calm and positive attitude. You will need to have clear, concise, and accurate verbal and written communication skills and be able to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

You must have the ability to use Video Analysis software such as Sportscode and be able to work collaboratively across the Club to build and establish strong working relationships.

Competent use of Microsoft Tools for presentations and a UEFA A (or Pro) Licence and/or UEFA A Goalkeeping Licence is desirable.

This role will require flexibility and travel, which will include evenings, weekends and matchdays.
