1. The Department

Our Content and Digital Department are responsible for delivering outstanding coverage that resonates with our fans across multiple emerging platforms through creative and engaging content.

Working with a dynamic and fast-paced environment, the post-holder will work alongside the wider Social and Video Team to help ideate and create world-class content – specifically as it pertains to emerging platforms (TikTok, Reels).

2. The Role

We are seeking a pro-active and creative Social Video Editor to boost engagement and growth across our vertical media platforms such as TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube shorts.

You will create, edit and publish short-form video content video that captures key moments, highlights and delivers value to our fans in real time whilst ensuring all content quality is both industry leading and consistent.  You will also utilise mobile devices and camera equipment to record and capture unique and authentic footage.

Covering the First Team, you will play a pivotal role in pitching, developing and executing your creative ideas through video and storytelling aligning with the club’s brand and tone.

You will assist with matchday coverage and special events to create in-the-moment content that generates commercial value for our fans and amplifying fan engagement.

3. The Person

You will have a strong understanding of social media metrics and best practices for vertical video platforms as well as the ability to spot trends and develop unique content ideas. You will need experience in mobile video recording, camera equipment sues and exceptional video editing within Adobe Suite (Premier Pro, After Effects).

With a ‘can-do’ attitude, we are seeking an innovative, forward-thinking and dedicated individual with excellent attention to detail and an eye for making our content stand out on a global stage and bringing your ideas to life!

You must have previous experience in creating, developing and executing social media video content, ideally within a sports or entertainment setting.

You must also be available to work flexibly as this role will require you to work evenings and weekends and hold a full UK driving licence.
