The Department

The partnerships department is responsible for acquiring and managing the commercial partners of Aston Villa Football Club. The partnership management team are the gatekeepers for delivering partnership rights and therefore work closely with all areas of the Football Club. The team works at a fast pace and due to the nature of delivering partnerships activations across a broad spectrum of brands, working days and projects will be extremely varied.

The Role

The primary function of the role will be to deliver player activations for the partnerships team and wider commercial department. The candidate must be able to effectively manage relationships with first team players and staff at the training ground to ensure maximum cooperation. The role will require excellent organisation to manage multiple projects simultaneously and ensure player time is managed across the season. The candidate will also be expected to maximise commercial communications into external media on both a regional and national level.

The Person

The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and thrive in developing relationships. Experience working with athletes/talent is essential and partnerships experience working with brands is preferred. =You will be incredibly orgnanised and a self-starter who can effectively monitor seasonal schedules and juggle multiple projects simultaneously. You will have the ability to relish a fast-paced environment and will have an acute attention to detail.

You will lead by example, champion the Partnerships team both internally and externally and act as ambassador for Aston Villa Football Club.
