1. The Department
Our Ticketing Department is at the heart of the fan experience managing the full journey of ticket sales and delivery for all our Men’s, Women’s and youth fixtures. Beyond matchdays, we oversee bookings for away travel, soccer schools, and stadium tours—helping fans connect with the club in unforgettable ways. As a central hub for fan enquiries, we pride ourselves on providing exceptional service and support, making every interaction feel personal and effortless.
2. The Role
As the Disability Access Officer, you will take a leading role in ensuring that all aspects of the Club are as accessible as possible to our disabled supporters. You will oversee compliance with relevant disability legislation and best practice and create an inclusive environment both on matchdays and non-matchdays.
Your role will include ensuring the stadium and Club facilities are as accessible as possible, managing ticketing and personal assistant services for disabled supporters, and fostering relationships with external organisations and stakeholders to enhance accessibility across the Club. You will also contribute to strategic projects, advising on the design of accessible spaces and services, both now and in the future.
This role plays a key part in driving the Club’s commitment to ensuring the Club is as supportive, accessible and inclusive as possible for all.

3. The Person
You will need to have a clear passion and commitment for promoting diversity, equality and inclusion in a proactive way. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a disability access or customer support role, ideally within sports or public-facing environments. You will have a strong understanding of disability legislation and best practices related to accessibility.
The role requires excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to engage effectively and build relationships with internal teams, disabled supporter groups, and external stakeholders. You should be able to convey complex accessibility information clearly and ensure staff and supporters are well-informed.
You will need to have a proactive approach with the ability to anticipate and identify potential challenges related to accessibility and work collaboratively to find practical, effective solutions. You will need to be organised, with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously whilst prioritising appropriately.
You will be required to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, home and away matchdays. You will also need to have access to a vehicle and / or the ability to travel between our Club sites including Villa Park, our London Office and Bodymoor Heath Training Ground.
