1. The Department
Our Facilities and Estates Department are responsible for looking after our facilities across all our sites – Villa Park, Bodymoor Heath Training Ground and our Brookvale Inner City Academy. This is an exciting time at the Club, we are celebrating our 150th anniversary and we are determined to continue growing our success on and off the pitch.
The Facilities and Estates Department are vital in this journey, supporting the major redevelopment work across all sites, enabling our day-to-day operations and matchdays to happen and making sure all our facilities are maintained to the highest possible standard.
2. The Role
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaning Services Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of hygiene, health, and safety at the Club day-to-day and on matchdays.
You will work as part of the wider team and your duties will include dusting, damp wiping, vacuuming, mopping, emptying of waste bins, replenishing supplies across various areas at the Club including offices, concourses, bathrooms and changing rooms.

3. The Person
You will have previous experience working as a Cleaning Services Operative in a similar working environment. You will need strong attention to detail and be committed and passionate about providing a ‘best-in-class’ service. Whilst you will be part of the wider team, you will also need to be self-driven and be comfortable with working independently.
You must also be available to work flexibly as this role will require you to work evenings and weekends.
