1. The Department
Aston Villa Football Club are seeking a committed and proactive individual to join our Academy Performance Analysis Department in the position of Lead Academy Performance Analyst.
The Academy Performance Analysis Department looks to maximise the skillsets of each individual staff member to enhance the content produced within each area of our delivery cycle. The Department works collaboratively with Coaching staff to provide and deliver high quality analysis content through a variety of different methods to support the Academy Technical and Tactical programme.
The Department has an excellent track record of providing a platform for the development of Performance Analysts, helping to improve individual’s skillsets and Analytical processes.
2. The Role
In this role you will manage and be responsible for the provision and delivery of the Performance Analysis Programme across the Academy. You will be responsible for a team of staff, to deliver and meet targets set across the season to implement into the Academy curriculums and programmes.
A core duty for the successful candidate will be to deliver and manage the Performance Analysis services for the U23 squad which will include Pre, Opposition, Live, Post, Stats and Databases whilst working as part of a wider Multi-Disciplinary Team.

3. The Person
The successful candidate must have a BSc in Performance Analysis or a related discipline and ideally hold or be working towards a Masters. You must have demonstrable experience of applying analytical content and managing a team within a full-time professional Football Academy. You will need experience of using Performance Analysis software such as Hudl Sportscode and Wyscout and be able to work collaboratively to interpret, analyse and communicate analysis content to colleagues and players.
