1. The Department
Our Emerging Talent and Loans Team work across our Boys Academy and Men’s First Team focusing on providing performance support, helping with the seamless transition of a player’s journey from Academy to First Team and maximising the long-term development of our players out on loan.
2. The Role
We are looking for an experienced Physiotherapist with a passion for on pitch physical development and performance rehabilitation to support our young professional players on their journey to first team football. You will work across the Professional Development Phase (PDP) providing outstanding physiotherapy provision for our Academy Loans and identified Emerging Talent.
Working closely with the multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) in the First Team, Loans and Boys Academy you will ensure that these players receive consistent, evidence-based support wherever they are playing or training. You will lead on delivering player centered physiotherapy provision for players out on domestic or international loan, transitioning between Academy and First Team environments and those identified as Emerging Talent.

3. The Person
To be considered for this role, you will need to hold the following qualifications/registrations:
* BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy (minimum 2:1)
* MSc in Physiotherapy or Sports Science related subject
* Membership to the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
You will need to be an organised and proactive practitioner who enjoys working independently as well as part of a multi-stakeholder MDT. You must be able to demonstrate previous experience in providing high-quality physiotherapy provision in a full-time capacity in an elite professional football environment, ideally in a First Team or Loans setting. You will play a key role in our MDT, be able to represent the Club in different environments and be confident building relationships both internally and externally and managing multiple stakeholders.
You must also be available to work flexibly as this role will require you to work evenings and weekends and hold a full UK driving licence.
