1.The Department

The Partnerships Activations Department bring these partnerships to life ensuring each partner receives maximum value from their sponsorship. A key focus is ensuring partners contractual rights are delivered whilst also looking to deliver innovative and groundbreaking activations which move the department to a more a creative marketing led partnership activations team.

There is no better time to join our Club as we are in our 150th season and continue to make progress on the pitch, embarking on our first UEFA Champions League campaign. We are also taking strides off the pitch and looking to expand our team to continue to drive forward our partnerships strategy.

2.The Role

As Partnerships Manager you will be responsible for managing and developing accounts for some of the Club’s most strategic partners and play a critical part in shaping the Club’s commercial success. You will be our partner’s key contact – building strong relationships by establishing and nurturing trust with partner organisations, understanding their industry, business and marketing goals. You will create tailored, seasonal plans with a real focus on best-in-class activations - creating and implementing innovative campaigns that align with partner objectives and amplify the partnership with the Club.

Your responsibilities will include facilitating regular status meetings with partners, ensuring all records are updated and maintained, liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth account management and creating partner case studies.

3. The Person

We are looking for someone who has experience of managing multiple clients (preferably in a sponsorship or marketing environment) who has real pride and passion for relationship management and creating groundbreaking partnership activations. You will need experience of working in a fast-paced commercial environment and be able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

You will need to be able to build strong relationships and communicate concisely, clearly and accurately to both internal and external stakeholders and be comfortable with presenting business cases to senior management.

You will need to available to work flexibly which may include matchday working, evenings and weekends with access to a vehicle and / or the ability to travel between our Club sites.
