1. The Department

The Matchday Stewarding and Security Team have a vital role on a matchday ensuring the safety of all persons attending the venue in addition; enabling the operation to run smoothly providing customer satisfaction for those attending Villa Park. The team work hard and are dedicated to ensuring the operation runs effectively on matchdays, creating a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for all attendees.

2. The Role

We have an exciting opportunity for a Security and Matchday Safety Administration to join our team. This is a vital role to ensure an overall smooth matchday operation by providing efficient, timely and accurate administration support to the Security and Matchday Safety Team.

Working closely with the Staffing Officer in several ways, you will support with administrative tasks, coordinating and delivering training sessions for staff and stakeholders and generating accreditation requirements for specific events dependent on the needs of various departments.

You will play a pivotal role within our Club’s operation by liaising with departments to understand accreditation requirements, parking requirements and managing department complaints received by spectators and facilitating effective resolutions in a timely manner. 

You will also assist in day-to-day duties of organising and managing uniform requirements to ensure that staff attitude meets event standards and regulations as well as assisting in collating and inputting accurate staff payments in preparation for payroll processing.

3. The Person

The ideal candidate must have proven administration experience in an office environment as well as be a proficient user of Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

This is a diverse role which requires strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail. You will need to have clear, concise and accurate verbal and written communication skills and be able to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

You must also be available to work flexibly as this role will require you to work matchdays, evenings and weekends.
