1. The Department

The Retail Team are responsible for carrying out the front-line selling, driving sales revenue for the organisation and maintaining retail standards through the back of-house operations. We are now looking to expand our team, and the post holder will work in a dynamic environment and play a vital part in creating the first impression of the Retail Department . You will work collaboratively across various stakeholders, ensuring effective service delivery and contributing to the overall success and commercial growth of the club.

2. The Role

We are seeking a Technical Partner Controller to manage all adidas-related orders and operations at the Club. This key role will ensure that team kits, staff allocations, and retail orders are processed efficiently and to the highest standard. You will be the main point of contact for adidas, overseeing the entire order process from forecasting and ordering through to delivery. You will work closely with internal teams including the 1st team, U21s, Women’s and Academy to ensure their specific kit needs are met on time.

You will also manage staff kit allocations, keeping accurate records of items such as sizes, names, and numbers. Close coordination with adidas and the warehouse team will be essential to ensure timely deliveries and effective inventory management. you will also oversee all retail adidas orders, ensuring stock levels are monitored regularly and that new product releases or seasonal stock demands are met. You will collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth stock replenishment, and that team kit and retail orders align with operational needs

3. The Person

The ideal candidate will have experience in retail operations, logistics, or stock management, preferably within a sports or entertainment environment. A strong understanding of order management and inventory systems is essential.

Ideally you will have experience with adidas or similar sportswear brands, as well as expertise in forecasting demand and managing stock levels, would be advantageous. A solid knowledge of sports apparel, including its sizing, durability, and functionality, is also beneficial.

Attention to detail is crucial, particularly when overseeing kit allocations and maintaining accurate stock levels. You should possess strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external partners, and the ability to address issues quickly and efficiently, especially under pressure. The role requires excellent organisational abilities, including the capacity to manage multiple tasks and meet tight deadlines. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) and experience with retail and inventory management systems are essential. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends, along with the ability to travel between sites, is essential.
