1. The Department
Our Girls Academy Department has demonstrated that we provide the highest level of quality coaching, education, training and facilities for our youth football provision. In order to deliver our ambitious plans for nurturing, encouraging and developing talent at this level, we have exciting opportunities available for self-motivated and proactive individuals to join our Foundation Phase (ages 9 – 11) and Youth Development Phase (ages 12 – 16) Coaching team.
2. The Role
Working within the phase specific programme, you will assist with the development of an allocated age group which will include planning, preparing, organising, managing, and evaluating all training sessions.
As an Academy coach, you will provide feedback to parents and players and attend information evenings as necessary. You will assist with Analysis staff to ensure that recordings of games and footage feedback sessions take place on a regular basis and work closely with Medical and Sport Science staff in the management of injuries and Sports Science testing.

3. The Person
The successful candidate will need the following qualifications:
* Minimum UEFA C Licence (UEFA B Licence required for Youth Development Phase)
* FA Youth Award Level 1 and 2 (Any UEFA Licences completed after 2016 include FA Youth Award)
The FA Basic First Aid for Sport (BFAS) qualification and FA Safeguarding Children Workshop certificate are desirable.
You will need to have demonstrable experience of planning, delivering and monitoring football programmes and working with children. Knowledge of the Female Player Pathway and grassroots football in and around Birmingham would also be beneficial.
