We are now seeking a Digital Content Executive to help us drive the next phase of our digital evolution. 2. The Role
As a Digital Content Executive, you will play a pivotal role in updating and managing content across a variety of Aston Villa’s digital platforms, including the Club’s official website and stadium site. You will be responsible for ensuring that content is up to date, relevant, and in line with our brand voice and objectives.
A typical day will see you collaborating closely with the Digital Product Manager, Marketing team, and various departments across the Club. You will oversee the creation of landing pages for marketing campaigns, regular updating of club content, manage change requests, and contribute to the overall improvement of the user experience across our digital products.
You will also ensure that all digital platforms are functioning seamlessly on matchdays and assist with fan engagement initiatives. Your role will directly influence the fan journey, with your work helping to optimise how supporters interact with the Club online. A keen eye for design, UX instinct, and a passion for content creation will be key to your success in this role.

3. The Person
To be considered for this role, you will need to have proven experience in managing and curating digital content, ideally within a fast-paced, commercially driven environment (sports or entertainment sectors would be beneficial). A strong understanding of website design and a passion for UX best practices is a must, as is the ability to manage multiple projects at once and work collaboratively with different teams.
You will have a proactive attitude with a strong desire to contribute to continuous improvement in the Club’s digital presence. You will have proven problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing market trends and Club needs. It would be beneficial if you have a good understanding of Google Analytics and other tracking tools.
