1.The Department

The Aston Villa Foundation is the official Charity of Aston Villa Football Club and prides itself in being innovative in its approach to the club being used as a ‘Force for Good’.

The central team provides leadership, human resources, administrative and wider back-office support for the Foundation’s delivery departments, to allow departmental managers and their staff to deliver excellent, high quality and impactful programs.

2. The Role

This is a brand new role for and experienced finance manager looking for a position in a busy and growing charitable organisation.

The Charity Finance Manager will have the responsibility to lead the day-to-day financial operations of the Foundation, overseeing various reporting requirements to a range of stakeholders, whilst continuously making recommendations to improve our financial performance and reporting processes.

The post-holder will work collaboratively with colleagues at all levels to provide up to date financial information and analysis of the organisation, whilst also improving and increasing understanding amongst colleagues in financial planning and monitoring.

3. The Person

The Aston Villa Foundation is seeking a high-skilled, driven and purposeful Charity Finance Manager with a genuine interest in charitable and community work.

You will be experienced and proficient in financial management processes, who can not only lead on the collation of information, but advise and guide on our financial reporting as the organisation continues to grow and develop.

The Charity Finance Manager will be a proactive individual and will be skilled in financial management and processes, as well as working collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders to create the best results.
