1. The Department
The Scouting and Recruitment department provide detailed information, analysis, and recommendations to key stakeholders regarding the recruitment of prospective Men’s First Team players. Our ultimate goal is to contribute to the continued success and growth of the Men’s First Team performance whilst supporting emerging talent operations to maintain a longer-term approach to squad building and succession planning.
2. The Role
We are looking for a Recruitment Analyst to work within our First Team Scouting Team. The role will be based at Bodymoor Heath Training Ground and you will also be expected to work flexibly and travel to matches to watch scouting targets when required.
Reporting into the Head of Scouting Operations, you will be expected to contribute to all phases of the scouting process, including player identification, live/video scouting, detailed analysis and final recruitment presentation material.

3. The Person
The successful candidate must have previous significant experience of working within an elite football club, preferably in a scouting or recruitment capacity. You will need to be highly IT literate in using scouting data and systems as this will form an integral part of the role. We are looking for someone who is passionate and enthusiastic about learning new skills on the job.
Previous experience of specialising within a specific territory or region as a scout (or equivalent) and an MSc in Performance Analysis, Sports Science (or equivalent) is desirable.
You will need a full UK Driving Licence with access to your own vehicle. This role will require working flexibility including evenings, weekends and matchdays as the role requires.
