1. The Department
The Aston Villa Foundation is the official Charity of Aston Villa Football Club and prides itself in being innovative in its approach to the club being used as a ‘Force for Good’.
The Engagement, Sport & Wellbeing Division is newly formed, complimenting the organisation’s new 2024-28 Strategic Plan. The Engagement, Sport & Wellbeing Division brings together several departments, all of which contribute to providing a landscape of opportunities for children and young people in a variety of education, development and learning settings.
2. The Role
This is an existing role for an experienced project/programme coordinator, with a proven track record in designing, coordinating resourcing and executing impactful projects with a health, fitness and wellbeing focus. This is a creative, fast-paced, and exciting environment within a busy and growing charitable organisation with a strong reputation.
The Health and Wellbeing Manager (Engagement, Sport & Wellbeing) will have the responsibility to lead and inspire a coordinator and group of wellbeing practitioners, and support them in the delivery of excellent, impactful projects, whilst also focusing on new opportunities to widen our impact and the development of our people.

3. The Person
The Aston Villa Foundation is seeking a high-skilled, driven and purposeful manager with a genuine interest in charitable and community work.
You will be experienced and proficient in managing people, coordinating projects/programmes and have a strong track record of partnership working and collaborating with key stakeholders, and experienced in developing new project/service opportunities in your chosen field.
