1. The Department

The Business Development and Fan Engagement department recognises the invaluable contribution made by every supporter to the on-going success of the club.  It has a strong relationship with its dedicated and fantastic supporters, while also wishing to continuously improve the connection between the club and our fanbase. The Club has various channels of dialogue to make it accessible and open to its supporters.

2. The Role

We have a new exciting opportunity for a Supporter Liaison Manager to join our team based at Bodymoor Heath Training Ground.  The postholder will be responsible for managing the club’s relationship with our fanbase and be the regular point of contact between both supporter groups and individuals, building a strong relationship with its dedicated and fantastic supporters, providing consultation with fans on a structured and regular basis.

You will also continuously be improving communication channels working with all relevant internal stakeholders in developing a process/strategy on all Fan Experience matters, gathering feedback from supporters and producing monthly reports on key matters

3.The Person

The ideal candidate will have demonstrable  experience working in a similar Supporter Liaison role, ideally with a deep knowledge of the heritage, history and values of the Club.

The postholder will have exceptional verbal communication skills which are clear, concise, and accurate with the ability to speak in public forums and have a good understanding of social media and fan forum channels, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and to mediate and resolve complex situation, presenting  arguments; factor in key information and producing reasoned ideas and thoughts.

You will have strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to adapt to changing conditions quickly in a fast-paced operational environment. You will also have the ability to manage difficult situations, difficult requests, queries, and challenging enquiries in a professional manner
